Paris Hilton feels right at home in Switzerland. She even wants a Swiss passport.
On 9 December 2015, Paris Hilton went in person to the Schindellegi commune office, in the canton of Schwyz, to announce her residency. Speaking to the newspaper Blick she said “I just love everything about this country…the people are so lovely, the food is excellent and the landscape beautiful.” Next she reveals “I want to become Swiss.”
So why Switzerland? In 2014, while at the Cannes film festival, she met Austrian entrepreneur Thomas Gross (39) who lives there. In 2006, Gross started a business in Switzerland selling betting data collected by scouts on the ground at sports matches armed with mobile phones. He later sold the business, called Runningball, to a UK firm for US$ 200 million.
