Freddie Mercury, front man for the British rock band Queen, spent much of his final years in Switzerland. Mercury recorded his last music in 1991 in Mountain Studios, a recording studio in Montreux the band bought in 1978.

The band continues, but with only two of its original members: Brian May and Roger Taylor. And, it seems, a few members of the Swiss military.
The clip below, filmed recently on an air base near Lucerne, shows members of the Swiss military moving to the tune of “We will rock you”.
This is not Switzerland’s first military rock performance. The following clip was filmed in the snow in 2013 at a military base in Alpnach. The music starts at 0:54.
