Candide Thovex. Some will have heard of him some might not have. He’s French, comes from La Clusaz – about 40 minutes from Geneva, started skiing at two, and is considered by many to be the world’s most accomplished freestyle and freeride skier. In 2007, he fractured his spine attempting a 45 metre jump.  His career seemed over.  A few years later, he was back, and won Freeride World Tour in 2010.
Armed with a strap-on-camera, he has also produced a high speed skiing film trilogy, that has attracted nearly 28 million views. The third one was released recently.
The first and third films allude to his arrest. His skiing is dangerous and he really should be arrested.
